TravelGuitar is an accompaniment musical instrument which is always with you in your pocket.

If you like to sing and would like guitar style accompaniment then TravelGuitar is an app for you.

TravelGuitar was designed specifically for phone based music playing and as such it has a number features which make it unique compared to other Guitar style apps:

1) Buttons are strategically positions/sized so that it is hard to miss them even on small size phone screen. They occupy the majority of the screen real estate (when show/hide button is pressed).

2) Reduce the amount of finger movement in order to play the music. Essentially the user only needs to move the finger when the chords needs to be changed (unlike other apps where every note of the chord needs to be touched)

3) Touch response allows to express emotions during the playback.

4) Record the singing session and send it via email or upload to the cloud right within the app. In majority of phones - it is best to use external speaker during the recording.

5) Songbook allows to show the song lyrics/chords and at the same play the song. It is very simple to start playing. As soon as you install the app and start it, it is ready to play. Press a chord button and hold it. As long as the button is held the melody will play.

The vibration under your finger will tell you the rhythm of the music as well as indicate when you can transition smoothly between chords. You can start the transition shortly after you feel the vibration.

Please note that when touch response is enabled, the volume of the music is less loud and that is why this mode is more targeted to users with headphones or external speaker. Disabling the touch response makes the volume loud enough for the speakerphone.
